How to Use This Calculator
- Enter product dimensions β length, width and height of the product to be packaged.
- Set clearance β 1 inch per side for standard bubble wrap / air pillows. 0.5 inch for rigid foam insert. 2 inches for fragile items.
- Enter product weight β to determine whether actual or DIM weight will be billed by the carrier.
- Check void percentage β aim for under 30% void space. High void = wasted materials + higher DIM weight.
